Kam Mofid, Chief Executive Officer
Kam Mofid brings to RGS Energy a wealth of knowledge and experience in the solar industry. Prior to joining RGS Energy, Kam was General Manager of Global Residential and Light Commercial Systems at SunEdison. Before joining SunEdison, Kam was President of Mainstream Energy, the parent company of REC Solar and AEE Solar, where, under his leadership, the company achieved substantial growth and improvements.
Prior to his entry into the solar sector, Kam served as President of Teleflex Power Systems, and at Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Company, as Director of Materials and Logistics. In the earlier part of his career, Kam held engineering and operations management positions at General Motors, where he was also named a Fellow of the Corporation. Kam holds a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a M.Sc. degree in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University, and a M.Sc. degree from Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Industrial & Systems Engineering.
Tony DiPaolo, Chief Financial Officer
Tony DiPaolo previously served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Incentra Solutions (now Presilient), a provider of information technology and storage management solutions to enterprises, where he managed service providers in North America and Europe. Prior to Incentra, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer for Roomlinx, a publicly traded media and entertainment services company. Tony’s background also includes experience in executive financial positions for public companies in the equipment finance industry, and he was part of a successful wireless technology start-up company which was eventually acquired. Tony has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Denver and is a licensed certified public accountant.
Dennis Lacey, President – Residential Solar Division
Dennis Lacey came to RGS Energy with over 25 years of executive leadership experience. Prior to RGS Energy, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Imperial Bancorp, a $6 billion publicly traded commercial bank. Before Imperial Bancorp, Dennis was president and Chief Executive Officer of Capital Associates, a publicly traded equipment leasing company. His experience also includes serving as Chief Financial Officer for CKE Restaurants and TeleTech, one of the largest customer experience management companies in the United States, and as head of capital markets for a private alternative asset investment and management firm.
Timothy Seamans, Chief Operating Officer
Timothy Seamans first became interested in solar power as a way to mitigate climate change. Since joining RGS Energy, his efforts to bring operational excellence best practices to the renewable energy field have had a positive impact on the entire industry.
With more than 25 years of executive management experience, Tim oversees RGS Energy’s project management, project installation, product procurement, inventory management, and logistics. He has a Business Administration degree and a successful track record in finance, information technology and the business operations disciplines.
Jared Haines, Vice President of Sales – Commercial Division
Jared Haines joined RGS Energy through the acquisition of Mercury Solar Systems, a company he co-founded in 2006. As President of Mercury Solar Systems, he oversaw several business units including sales, marketing, and business development. Jared played an active role in several acquisitions to help the company expand its footprint in the United States.
Prior to co-founding Mercury Solar Systems, Jared led a fifteen-year sales and marketing career, most recently working at British Telecom, the largest communications service provider in the United Kingdom. He previously served as President of Strategis, a start-up technology company he sold to a French-based software company in 2001.
Jared has a B.S. in Social Psychology from Tufts University. He is an active speaker on solar energy at various investment conferences, industry trade shows, schools, and other public events, and is frequently quoted in the national, local, and business press as an industry expert.
Andrew Zaref, Chief Development Officer – Commercial Division
Andrew Zaref joined RGS Energy through the acquisition of Mercury Solar Systems, where he worked since 2011 overseeing accounting and financial operations, contract administration, procurement, engineering and permitting, and information technology/business systems.
Prior to joining Mercury Solar Systems, Andrew served as Chief Financial Officer of several publicly traded and private equity-backed companies, leading them during periods of hyper growth, business combinations and divestitures, and capital-raising activities. In addition, Andrew enjoyed a 16-year career in public accounting including numerous years as a Partner at KPMG LLP servicing numerous clients in the information, entertainment, communications, and technology industries. He is a CPA and a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Management.
Crystine Hodges, Human Resources Director
Crystine Hodges joined RGS Energy in 2012 because of her interest in the renewable energy industry. She brings with her experience in leading Human Resources departments in the wholesale retail and information technology fields, and in building world-class teams to achieve company goals and objectives. She earned her MBA from Walden University and holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Her love for the beautiful Colorado mountains and open space keeps her focused on helping the company achieve its vision.
