Real Goods Solar Announces Grand Opening at Sierra Vista Mall
Clovis, CA – Real Goods Solar might be the most experienced solar installer in town, but the company now is the newest kid on the block at Sierra Vista Mall.
Real Goods Solar, the solar industry’s only publicly-traded company and the first to sell a solar panel in the United States, is pleased to offer its services straight from Clovis’ popular Sierra Vista Mall beginning Thursday, May 31st.
Visitors to the mall now will have another outlet where they can learn about how affordable and environmentally friendly solar can be. As an added bonus, all visitors who are homeowners can enter to win a free solar system at the Real Goods Solar location.
“We are quickly approaching the hot summer months, so this is the perfect time for our grand opening at Sierra Vista Mall,” said Tom Cotter, Real Goods Solar Central California Sales Manager. “Living in the Valley, we all know that as the temperatures rise, our electric bills rise. There are a lot of myths out there about the affordability and feasibility of solar. We are excited to have another outlet where we can demonstrate to area residents that solar is so right for so many reasons.” Real Goods Solar has an ebook that details 87 solar myths and can be downloaded for free at RealGoodsSolar.com.
In addition, Real Goods Solar will soon sell a variety of different eco-friendly products from the location, including clothing, stationary, toys, household products, solar products, and health and wellness products.
Real Goods Solar isn’t waiting to get involved at the mall, either. The company is a proud sponsor of the Rock the Mall summer concert series.
“We’re excited to welcome Real Goods Solar at Sierra Vista Mall as one of our newest merchants,” said Geanie Silva, Marketing Director at Sierra Vista Mall. “The company’s presence at the mall may help local residents save money on their electrical costs, giving them more money to spend supporting the local economy.”
Since 2006, the average retail price of electricity for homeowners has increased by 13.5 percent. Homeowners generally pay the most because of the costs required to distribute electricity. Higher demand for electricity in the summer also drives up prices. Thanks to solar leases and power purchase agreements, homeowners can have a solar system installed on their homes with little money down and immediately begin saving on their electrical bills.
