RGS Energy has deep roots in solar. We came from humble origins in 1978 as Real Goods, a sustainable living store in Northern California. The Real Goods store sold some of the first retail solar panels in the United States.

In 2012, we merged with Alteris Renewables, New England’s original solar company. Together, we have almost 80 years of experience bringing clean, affordable energy to our nation. Our heritage is strong, and we strive to partner with the best companies out there to brighten the future.

Below is a list of companies and organizations we are proud to call our partners. Companies not listed are due to confidentiality agreements.
